2023 marks a significant milestone as the Shaw Prize celebrates its 20th anniversary. After three years of virtual celebration, we are thrilled to announce that we will be gathering in person once again. Shaw Laureates from the current year and the past three years will receive their awards at the Award Presentation Ceremony on 12 November 2023, at the Grand Hall of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Wanchai, Hong Kong. The Ceremony will be officiated by the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Honourable John KC Lee.

The Shaw Prize Lectures 2023 will follow on the day after the Ceremony. Three Lectures (Lectures on The Shaw Prize in Astronomy, Life Science and Medicine, and Mathematical Sciences) given by the respective Laureates will be hosted by three universities in Hong Kong. Details are as follow.
