Last September was supposed to be the time we gathered, applauded and toasted to the 2020 Shaw Laureates, but the global outbreak of COVID-19 made everyone’s plans fell through, including ours. As the Announcement of the 2021 Shaw Prize Laureates is right around the corner and there is no guarantee that the 2020 Shaw Prize Award Presentation Ceremony could be held in the near future, The Shaw Prize Foundation has decided to bring the celebration online by hosting our first virtual Award Ceremony on Thursday, 20 May 2021 at 6:00pm HKT (GMT 1000).

The Shaw Prize Foundation warmly welcomes you to join the virtual Award Ceremony safely from home.  The event will be livestreamed on the Shaw Prize website.
