Stepping into May, we are showered with the excitement of welcoming the new Shaw Laureates of the year. 2022 is the 19th year of the Shaw Prize being awarded and the Announcement Press Conference of the three prizes, namely the Shaw Prize in Astronomy, Life Science and Medicine, and Mathematical Sciences, will be held online on Tuesday, 24 May 2022 at 15:00 HKT (GMT 07:00). The nomination for The Shaw Prize 2022 began in early September 2021 and ended on 30 November 2021 via electronic filing. Members on the Selection Committees for the three prize categories screened the nominations, and presented a final proposal for The Shaw Prize Council’s consideration.
